About The Victoria Ale House
On the corner it stands, next to the historic Lido (you might want to pop in for the odd pint after a refreshing dip), The Victoria Ale House is a Lilliputian gem of a pub. No food but plenty of beer and a place where you might want to contemplate your glass, a Dawkins Bristol Blonde or Best perhaps, or a guest from the likes of Good Chemistry or Ashley Down. Cheers!
The Victoria Ale House Mission Statement
The Victoria Ale House is one of the smallest pubs in the city, a Grade II* listed pub, tucked away off Whiteladies and St Pauls Road. It is compact with a two-room layout that is light and airy in summer, and cosy with a real fire in winter. It’s just had an extensive exterior refurb so do come and see! This is the third Dawkins pub and has been in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide every year since 2012, a fact we’re rather proud of.
