Dorset Beer Venues

Thanks to the towns of Bournemouth and Poole who bring in huge numbers of visitors for stag and hen parties, tourism and renowned watersport activities, these towns are well set up for a day or night out on the beers. From craft beer bars like All Hail Ale, The Firkin Shed, Micro Moose, The Saxon Bar and The White Bear in Bournemouth and the surrounding suburbs, through to Camden, The Brewhouse Kitchen and Drift Micro Bar in Poole, and The pursuit of Hoppiness in Bridport, there are plenty of places to grab a good local beer in Dorset.

There is also Cellar 59, a quirky craft beer cellar and brewery tap based in a unique 17th century building in Broad Street, Lyme Regis. We are situated in an area famous for fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast stretch of the SW Coastal Path. Hopefully the name gives it away, but yes, this joint is directly related to Gyle 59, a Dorset brewery based just up the road from the tap house.

We are still working on improving our Dorset Venues section - do you know of some great ones that should be included? Then please get in touch with us directly on
