Anglesey Brewhouse is an award winning family run micro brewery situated in the market town of Llangefni on the beautiful Island of Anglesey, North Wales.
They brew to age old, tried and tested methods but add a modern twist to produce up-to-the minute thirst-quenching craft beers of piquancy and evenness in flavour. Established in 2017, they soon upscaled to the current brewery site in 2019 and created a custom built 10 barrel brewhouse enabling them to create 360 gallons per brew. Their core focus is on producing pale ales, Indian pale ales and American pale ales with some more hop forward than others. They are vegan friendly.
Phil, Karen and son Adam, the head brewer, started the business and have recently been joined by Gareth. The Brewhouse bottle shop is open 5 days a week Tuesday to Saturday and we deliver for free all over the Island on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
The brewery's moto is to;
BREW THE TRUTH – YN BRAGU’R GWIR
This nods to their desire to produce the finest brews they possibly can, without cutting corners, and definitely not using inferior ingredients, just beers that they can be proud of and everyone can enjoy.
Rhosneigr IPA, 4.6% - Deep golden colour almost orange tones and a slight haze. On the nose you will get Pine, Spice backed up by Floral notes, Lemon and Papya. Taste gives a hint of Caramel and Biscuit from the Cara Malt giving way to the flavour from the high volume of hops used in this recipe, Centennial and Ekquanot in the kettle and dry hop process. You’ll also get Piney, Spicy notes that move into Citrus fruits from the hops that is so refreshing.
